Accomplishments of the Committee

National Awareness Campaigns

The FTL Directorate conducted national campaigns to increase compliance with financial regulations and reduce tax avoidance.

Awareness Program at Raj Bhawan, Uttarakhand

  • Conducted for the staff of the Governor's Secretariat, focusing on personal finance management, budgeting, and tax regulations.

  • Concluded with an address by Hon'ble Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh, who appreciated ICAI’s outreach efforts.

Inaugural of MSME & Startup Sphere

  • ICAI MSME & Startup Yatra organized 100 programs across 100 cities from June to October 2024.

  • Aimed to strengthen financial and tax literacy among MSMEs and the general public.

Vitiyagyan Mela (17th August 2024)

  • Organized across 5 Regional Councils and 66 branches in India.

  • Aimed at empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions.

  • Developed a dashboard to monitor activities by regional councils and branches.

  • Hosted a competition for CA members and students to become "FTL Ambassadors."

Vitiyagyan Mela Quiz

  • Hosted on the mygov.in platform from 12th July to 11th August 2024.

  • Received participation from 15,957 individuals.

Radio Campaign

  • Collaborated with popular radio channels to promote financial and tax literacy.

  • Covered 44 locations nationwide in 12 vernacular languages.

  • Relaunched a three-month campaign to deliver information on personal finance, tax planning, and compliance.

MOU with Capacity Building Commission (CBC)

  • ICAI entered into a Statement of Intent with CBC on 29th February 2024.

  • Developed e-learning programs on topics like ITR filing, budgeting, financial planning, TDS, and accounting.

MOU with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO)

  • ICAI acts as a knowledge partner to support financial literacy for underprivileged children and women.

  • Organizes workshops and training programs for financial accountancy and tax literacy.

  • Provides practical training to participants, including topics related to banking, loans, and financial subsidies.

Finfluencers Meet
(5th April 2024)

  • Attended by 42 social media influencers with strong followership.

  • Highlighted the transformative potential of social media in shaping financial literacy.

  • Resulted in a significant increase in followers on the FTL Directorate's social media handles.
